Back on subject; more stuff that blew me off my feet...
St. John Green... some psychedelic music is just so fun to listen to. St. John is focused, never too self-conscious and it's got this blasphemous theme all thru with the devil, death and drugs ever-present. Kinda like Trip Thru Hell, but a bit more listenable. Great stuff. (It does get a bit annoying on side B though...)
a bunch of songs that flipped my lid: Preston Love – Chicken Gumbo Johnny Otis – Castin' My Spell Les Paul & Mary Ford – How High The Moon The Fleetwoods – Come Softly To Me Little Anthony & The Imperials – Goin' Out Of My Head Frankie Valli – The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Ike & Tina Turner – Every Day I Have To Cry Little Eva – Up On The Roof Ben E. King – On The Horizon The Flamingos – I Only Have Eyes For You Irma Thomas – Two Winters Long Phil Phillips – Sea Of Love Tina Mason – Are You There Henry Mancini & His Orchestra – Lujon Julie London – Cry Me A River Bobby Hebb – Sunny Va Va Va Voom - Brett Smiley The Fuzz - Roy Ayers
