In the '60s you had to learn to dance if you wanted a girl ( or unless you were in a garage band like Kirby ). What are you trying to say, checkmate? That you had to learn to dance to get a girl, or you had to learn to dance to get into a " Garage " band or that you had to be in a " Garage " band to get a girl? What is really true is that you had to play music that people could dance to if you wanted to play at all, let alone get a girl. And, in most cases, the girls I got because I was in a " Garage " band weren't looking to dance in that fashion. More like "The Tube Steak Boogie". Tom

The band members got the groupies and the rest of us had to dance to get the chicks.

Especially that one. ;D

Right now, as we speak, Créme Soda is chewing my mind with Chewing Gum! Thanks fer that Leedee -- it sounds more like psychobilly to me than anachronistic '60s garage... kool though. The Figures of Light tune is boss too!!! Got any more by them? "It's All Lame" was such a prescient summation of the decades to come.

It is pretty much 100% from Kugelberg's Ugly Things articles. If anyone have any suggestions of songs I've forgotten, please tell me.
Of course you have tracks like Love by the Live Wires or Hang Out by Kaleidoscope but they somehow don't fit in.
