been meaning to check out psychedelic horseshit, are they not a noise band? on record they sound like dead c doing strokes songs, but they're much better live. you won't like em. The Dead C doing Strokes tunes would certainly be an improvement! ;D

A couple of UK bands well worth a listen: www.myspace.com/theevicarsuk'77 style vocals mixed with raw 60's r'n'r tunage. Very, very good live too. www.myspace.com/thefreaks1 Not seen this bunch yet (they only seem to gig if the full moon falls on a weekend), but I'm hugely impressed with their myspace offerings. And my band. Obviously.

Very, very good live too. yeah, I dig them, too... tis knockin' me flat what the kids are coming up with over yonder there acrosst the pond... and better'n better every time I see 'em. the Selmanaires... real angular pop that you can dance to, a compelling mix of Talking Heads and gang of Four.

Sky Saxon has some new stuff out a CD with demetrius recorded in greece & the electric prunes have resurfaced with a few new CDs they're old bands & members of bands with a new tale to tell. oh yeah and the creation had a DVD out some years back but maybe that's old news?
