 This is a photo from the Coachmen in Rochester Times Union, Dec 1965. I tried taking a picture of the article but it did not come out readable. Fototime is also only letting me post a small version of the picture. Bastards! |

Bastards! hey Chuck good to see you round these parts again.try using imagefra.me/. i highly recommend getting a scanner for cheap!i would love to read the Coachman article... were they underaged when they wrote the killer Drambuie?can`t imagine it was the sort of song the radio stations were pushing to the teens. |

 I used the imagefra site & got a larger picture (maybe a little too large). I got the articles from the library off of microfilm. I read that there were 4 articles Christmas week of 1965 & I tracked them down. This 1 was in Dec. 30, 1965 newspaper. It mentions that they went to Penfield High School. It mentions that 1 member is 17 & a senior, I imagine they are all about that age. I think Drambuie probably came out in 1966. Eventually I'll get the articles scanned scanned 1 way or another. |

I don't think I'm a good enough writer for a magazine. I managed to copy all
the articles on a copier & email it to myself, but it came out as a PDF file. I'm
not sure how to post it. If anyone wants a copy of the PDF send me a PM
with email & I will forward it. You should then also
be able to print it. I also included the back of the Stingrays LP
pic & liner notes, a friend recently got a copy & copied it for me. I have the record, but
no cover.
