I just picked up a Joe "King" Carrasco anthology that has many cool tunes . It's sorta tex-mex new wave .

I saw him live in the 80's. I read one of his LP's is collectible because Michael Jackson sang on it.

I tracked it down and gave it a listen . The first part was pretty good but it sorta petered out at the end .

The first part was pretty good but it sorta petered out at the end . hehe, i think you just wrote the definition of "new wave"! but here's a little test... next time try listening to side two first and see if you're saying the same thing. i'm guessing it might be a matter of a little going a long way rather than the record being front-loaded.
