Erasers are on Singles: The Great New York Singles Scene (ROIR). I guess they put out one 7"? I found a couple of references to them in webtexts, mostly just naming them in passing... best way to browse is to google Erasers + Mumps . Hugo M. pmadreenter@yahoo.com pocamadreenterprises.bravehost.comNP: JEFFERSON AIRPLANE - Bark. (Yuck.)

the fatal microbes (honey bane ) i have a split 12" of theirs ...with brilliant lyrics "beautiful pictures pepsi cola pepsi cola " ./
all the riot grrrl stuff is worth cheaking the raincoats are great the shop assistants (most of the female C86 stuff is great) the del monas what i've heard of the marine girls i've liked
the 80's was actually a really good time for indie music in england most of the more lesser known bands were ace .

Hey All;
I have a serious memory loss and I was wondering if you guys could help me -
I had on a tape a while ago a 80s punk-trash girl group song called "Maneaters". Im pretty sure it was a cover of a 60s soundtrack song anyway, but the 80s trash version was great.
Lyrics kinda like;
''I know that man is made outta clay
Shoot shit like clay pidgeons today..''
Man-Eatersssss
Man-Eatersss----!
Does anyone recognise it at all? Would be a great help.
Cheers.

Bangles all the way, although I loved L7, which is more 90s!

Yeah, I worked out the cramps did it and it is the She-devils theme, but this version I had was a lot more rough and 80s postpunk sounding rather than the Cramps cleaner version.
Memory is working again....
Thanks guys, and hey James! See you in Berlin soon.
