Deep Purple - Fireball Sweet - Blockbuster T-Rex - 20th Century Boy
I've decided the 60s sucks and early English 70s rock rules...

Johnny Get Angry - just discovered this early sixties pop hit gem - can't decide what version I do like better - Joanie Sommers or Carol Deene.

The Beatles-A Hard Day's Night (mono remaster) I can't stand the Beatles these days, except when I actually listen to their many good records (the mono box make sense as it doesn't have their 2 boring albums)

Belfast Beat Maritime Blues. You don't hear much about this one but I think it's one of the best comps of the '60s.

A lot of kraut and some prog this week. Especially De Luxe by Harmonia was a fucking treat.
Found a sick fuck in John Phillips who had some kind of romantic relationship with one of his daughters. Well, I knew that before but I hadn't heard the washed-up, coked-up, down-and-out super-sleaze of She's Just 14 which is a ten-pointer on the WCPAEB disgusto-scale. Cynic Stones-styled country-funk and supposedly written to the poor daughter. Horrific. She later used the chorus "High On Arrival" for the book she wrote about herself and her stinky dad.
Yesterday I listen to some Alex Chilton, especially the album Lost Decade. Absolutely fantastic. Especially Walking Dead was a mind blowing experience. Rest in peace Alex, and tell Lux I said hi.
