Has anyone heard the Remains " new " record ? I think it came out a few years ago . The new songs live were kinda boring but I've heard one new song on a comp that was nice (it's called don't tell the truth)

a pity nice isn't exactly a quality you want in a rock n' roll record... anyone who wants to hear some of the new songs - including you staticdisaster - punch up the last two Hanging On For Mercy shows... #37 features an all Ravens set of both old and new... hits ya about a half hour in. #36 kicks off with Rollerland.

So these guys must be the real sheep's pinata or somethin'... I will try and check out this sound that has the people ravin'! I've been to Montreal once but it might be even farther away for me than it is from GA.
We have a neat live sensation here called The Sutcliffes if you can believe it, and they are going to be no. 1 on my see list for awhile (until the Kaisers reform or something).

it's gonna take a lot to top the Alarm CLOCKS reunion LP .. that was the best thing I've heard in a long time (from both bands old AND new I like the Alarm Clocks comeback album but I love the Ravens reunion album. As Eddie Phillips of the Creation said in reviewing it, it's a "bit weird and wonderful" and "unpredictable." Goofy guitar and great vocals combined with topnotch songwriting. The Remains comeback was iffy, imho.

you could try leaning it against the wall and talk to it i suppose.

but if it doesnt answer back it would be an awfully boring interview. kinda like a radio interview of a mime or someone who is mute.

I'm real sad to report that the shows have been canceled. Mike and the Ravens live on only as a recording project. Mike's health just wouldn't allow him to perform.
