It's an amazing album. Unprecedented in comeback history. I never heard of the band until a year or so ago when I came across their '60s material. Totally unaware they were back together until a pal sent me to their new site. As Laurent Bigot wrote in a review they posted in their blog, "Stunning" or something like that.

its grandpa rock. the twilighters version destroys their comeback version. the alarm clocks reunion was better.

The sad thing about Carpet Donkey Brad is that there really is some passion and knowledge buried under that adolescent need to be contrary for contrary's sake. Unfortunately nobody takes him seriously anymore since all he does is try to incite controversy for to amuse himself. Pity the boy.

the alarm clocks reunion was better. um, were you in Cleveland? I don't recall seeing you there... which further defuses your credibility - naaaa na na na naa naa! but the you only like the Twilighters' version cuz it's old and familiar.... who's the grandpa now? Oliver, see ya in Montreal! then in November it slithers down south to Georgia! I've heard recordings from rehearsals... gonna be some big WOOHOO!

i like the twilighters version because its better. and sorry, but i'm not independently wealthy. i deliver pizzas, and make sub-minimum wage. i do own the alarm clocks lp on norton and back from the grave 1 though, thats more in my price range. and i'm sure ill pick up the mike and the ravens too assuming it is released on vinyl.
