Years ago, maybe around 1990, a guy I worked with gave me an audio cassette of punk stuff that he liked. Had songs by the Wipers, Rapeman, Big Black, Mission of Burma etc. Also two tracks by the Pagans, one of which was a great live version of Eyes of Satan. The tape is long lost & I'd like to hear that song again. I tried the Shit Street CD on Crypt but that is a different version. I'd like to track down the one that was on the tape. The main identifier I have is the spoken intro. The version on the tape started with the singer saying something along the lines of "sometimes you think your life is going really well, but in my experience that means you're looking through the eyes of Satan." Based on the era the tape was made & the guy who put it together, i think it may be from the Treehouse LP 'The godlike power of the Pagans'. I could buy a copy on LP, & still might, but there's the risk it's not the one. I'm hoping someone here might have a collection of Pagans recordings & can help me out. (If anyone even visits this forum anymore.)
