I don't know most of that stuff, but this is the first time I've ever seen the word "Freakrock" ...
FRESHWATER - SATAN'S WOMAN was an appalling "ode" to the Manson murders, released very soon after the events. I used to have the single.
It would be interesting to hear this comp at least once, if only for the history lesson. I'll wait for the free download.

I don't know most of that stuff, but this is the first time I've ever seen the word "Freakrock" ... I've started seeing it a couple years ago in Shindig mag. It's a mix of hard rock/(proto or not)glam/psych and unfortunately sometimes Prog acts from the late 60s to the mid 70s.
