Yeah, Black Lips latest is not that fun, no. Not that I ever was a super-big fan. But they might get better soon. I never turn my back on a band just because they dip.

I like the Black Lips in theory .... they are doing the 60s punk thing, but I can't listen to any of their albums/cds all the way through.

Good Bad not Evil is a fantastic album although many seems to prefer the first album (too lo fi for me but fab songs too). They're one of a handful current bands I still by albums of (usually I stop after one, and that's if I buy one).

the live in tijuana lp is good all the way through. the slovenly singles are excellent as well.
