I take it you mean bands or musicians of today playing music of back then. There was a cd comp from the last Garage Punk Forums where all the tunes were performed by forum members and their bands. I believe it's called "Under The Cover's." I don't know where my copy is at the moment, or could make you a copy. I bet somebody else on here has it, though.

Swanny I don't know if you're the only brit on here anymore. But, you wouldn't have been the only brit, before. I don't know who all still visits this site. It doesn't seem like many. Hell, even the site creator doesn't even visit. There is just a few of us who keep this site alive at all.

- You're close to right. I don't get it, except for what Lee De Parade said on some thread here. Everybody just got their fill of "The Garage" for awhile. I suspect that it will pick up again sometime. These things seem to come and go and then return again. To bad cause I sure enjoy talking about things. But, as long as 2 of us are still talking, this site has a glimmer of life.

This forum was never alive to begin with. It has about six active members, each of whom posts a five word comment once a fortnight. I and other have tried starting discussions on here now and then but they always either fizzle out or degenerate into slanging matches. Everything that needed saying has already been said.
The black forum is infinitely more lively -- it's more about collecting the actual 45s, but many of the members over there have interesting insights.

What's "The Black Forum" and do you have a link? What kind of music is discussed on that forum?
